We are looking for a few individuals who are self starters, eager to learn, and ready to get dirty! At River Tides, we treat employees like family, we hire locally and we provide education opportunities for growth within the company. We are currently seeking the following positions:

Crew Leader - Must have landscape crew lead experience, estimation and work management required.
​
Landscape Laborers - Will provide training for the right candidate who is motivated to learn more and grow within the company.
Responsibilities:

Yard and garden bed preparation, planting, weeding, mulching and edging.

Plant care services, such as pruning, fertilizing and removal

Build and maintain pathways, trellises, and other minimal hardscape.

Be resourceful to find answers when unsure and know when to ask questions for clarity.

Maintain a clean and organized work site.

Follow safety protocols while performing all tasks to ensure a safe working environment.

Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.

Basic knowledge of irrigations systems and controllers, knowing when to bring in a specialist.

Be responsible and respectful of the company and our clients.

Ensure quality standards are met on every job.
Qualifications
-
Previous landscape experience preferred, but not required if you are a curious learner and interested in the field.

Knowledge of local conditions that impact plant health, installation and management.

Understanding native plants and how them belong in the ecosystem is a plus.

Mechanical knowledge related to landscape machinery and tools is advantageous.

Must be able to work outdoors in hot and humid summer weather conditions, through rainy seasons and come dressed prepared for the weather

Must have reliable transportation to and from St Marys, GA.
