Nature-First Design & Project Management: We handle your design through a clear 3-step consultation process. You get a full installation plan to DIY, use your own team, or hire one of our vetted partners.
Preferred Installation Partners: Instead of taking on massive overhead, we’re pairing you with vetted local contractors who meet our high standards for craftsmanship, safety, and communication.
Garden Services & Home Maintenance: Need a extra set of hands? Hire our skilled team in half-day or full-day increments for garden tending, home repairs, or commercial storefront care.

From the very beginning, I’ve said that River Tides five years from now will look very different from River Tides when we started. One of the biggest mistakes a small business can make is becoming too attached to "the way things have always been done." We have to pay attention, listen to our customers, recognize where the need is, and be willing to adjust along the way.
At the same time, growth only works if we stay true to our original "why"—building something honest, caring for our community, and delivering exceptional service.
The demand for our services has been incredible, but rather than simply adding more trucks, heavy equipment, and overhead, we are taking a smarter, more personal approach.
River Tides Landscape Services is officially evolving into River Tides Home & Garden Services!
Here is a full breakdown of what our new offerings look like and what it means for you:
1. Landscape Design & Project Management
We are doubling down on what we do best: creating nature-first, eco-conscious outdoor spaces tailored to your property. To make the process seamless, our design workflow now follows a structured, collaborative path:
30-Minute Consultation: A quick check-in to make sure we’re a great fit for your project vision.
1-Hour Concept Review: We meet to discuss plant selections, hardscape materials, and design ideas.
1-Hour Scope & Site Meeting: We review initial drawings, confirm precise measurements, and solidify the scope.
At the end of this process, you receive a complete Installation Plan including detailed drawings, plant lists, and material estimates. From there, you can choose to DIY, bring in your own contractor, or work with our Preferred Partners.
2. Our Preferred Partner Program
To help execute larger landscape installations without sacrificing quality, we’ve developed a network of trusted local contractors. They aren't subcontractors—they are independent local businesses that contract directly with you, backed by our vetting.
Every Preferred Partner must meet strict standards, including:
Professional installation and quality workmanship
Proper licensing and full insurance coverage
Respectful property care and ethical employee treatment
Clear communication and adherence to ecological design principles
3. Flexible Home & Garden Services
Because our internal team isn't tied down to massive installation operations, we can offer flexible, hands-on care for your home and garden. You can now hire 1 or more team members in half-day or full-day increments to tackle your specific to-do lists:
Garden Services: From weeding and bed detailing to expert pruning and plant care for residential and commercial properties.
Home Maintenance: After completely transforming our 505 Osborne location in just six weeks, we realized how much hands-on talent our team possesses. Got a "honey-do" list or ongoing home repairs? Let us handle it.
Commercial & Storefront Care: Reliable maintenance for local businesses that need help keeping their entryways, planters, and exteriors looking sharp.
