Gardening for Wildlife

Want to help our pollinators and local wildlife? Create a habitat! It’s easier than you think — and every little hideaway helps replace the natural spaces we’ve lost.

A habitat is a safe environment for our pollinators' basic needs - food, water, nesting sites and shelter. River Tides will design a habitat in your space that is not only extremely helpful to our ecosystem, it will provide color and activity all year long and - low maintenance!

From frog hotels and lizard lounges to bee bungalows, small, creative projects can make a big difference. Plus, they’re fun, family-friendly, and a great way to bring life back into your garden..

As with all of our design services, you can take a DIY approach or we can do the heavy lifting for you.
Why is this so important?

Pollinators are the heartbeat of healthy gardens — they’re behind one-third of the food we eat, from fruits and nuts to that morning cup of coffee. They also keep ecosystems strong, helping plants stabilize soil, clean water, and shelter wildlife.
When pollinators fade, the whole web of life feels it — from wildflowers to humans.
Let’s change that, one little habitat at a time.
